It's officially time to pack away your summer whites and neons, because the best part of fall fashion is the rich colors it brings to your closet. My go to piece is the denim shirt; such a staple year round! I also love layering up a dress or skirt with this boyfriend fatigue jacket or chunky sweater. Stop by your favorite local coffee shop and you're all set for the perfect fall day.

A Pop of Fall
Starting the fall season is always a little baffling considering the fact that the temperature outside is screaming summer. However, when the evening rolls around, it gets significantly cooler and assures me that unpacking my fall clothes was not a waste of time. I love throwing on a neutral sweater and adding a pop of color with accessories. My favorite accessories are my Kendra Scott earrings even more now with her new fall color line!

Summer Florals
I'm doing everything I can to hold on to summer so, florals are definitely all over my list. This piece is one of my favorites and, surprisingly, goes with quite a bit in my closet! Patterns are so easy to wear because there are a variety of colors to pair them with. I also purchased this item in a tall, rather than a regular size. This makes it easier to tie up, adding a little twist to my outfit. This tulle skirt also has me saying "Ooh la la!" to my summer as it is slowly coming to an end.
Notice a little pizazz to my photos? It's all thanks to my talented friend Regan Shorter! Visit her website here.

Red, White & Denim
Around the Fourth of July holiday, my closet is exploding with red, white and blue gear. This drop waist skirt has been a staple piece in my closet all summer long with its flattering shape and versatility. I paired it with my favorite red top and light washed denim jacket to give it a more American feel. I can't wait to enjoy the parade and fireworks this year! Of course I couldn't leave my Kendra Scott earrings out of the equation. Why not look cute this holiday? After all, Fourth of July is the epitome of summer.

Let's Get Nautical
I may not be setting sail anytime soon, but a girl can dream, right? This iconic nautical stripe theme has been around for decades and is not retiring anytime soon. Nothing could be more classic than the cut of this dress Add the stripes and a chunky necklace and you've got a permanent place for this piece in your closet for years! I've worn this dress to interviews, on dates, and out around town. You can even wear it for the Fourth of July with this adorable red hat I'm obsessing over. This dress has all hands on deck when it comes to being fashion forward!

Bold Prints + Bright Hues
Now that summer is dawning on us, it's time to crank up our wardrobe and turn down our neutrals. It's all about the vivid prints and roaring colors of the season! I'm in love with this Micahael Kors maxi dress because it really speaks a thousand words. Why not stand out? Summer is the best season of the year to be bold with your color palette. Don't forget to add on your Kendra Scott earrings! My heart has been stolen by these Skylar earrings in white pearl. Too bad summer can't be year round!

Acid Wash + Floral
It wouldn't be a proper goodbye to the month of May without a post about florals. Floral print has been a necessity for years, decades, generations; you get my point. Recently, JCREW came out with the print "photo floral" and I have never been more mesmerized. The blue hues picked up by this acid wash denim shirt made a seamless transition into my closet. I have more things to wear with these than I could have imagined! Navy, white, and baby blue are very neutral colors to wear with this print, but if you really want to play it up, coral and magenta are a very nice touch to this rich minty green. Lucky for you this print is on SALE and also comes in a dress, skirt and bathing suit. Woo-hoo! April showers really do bring May flowers... in your wardrobe.

Baby Blue & Eyelet
An eyelet piece has always been a step in the right direction when the spring season rolls around but, recently it was taken to the runway and became an even bigger step. Eyelet has definitely transformed over the years, just make sure to shy away from the cheaper looking styles. Pay attention to the fabric and color it is paired with. A silky white eyelet may not look very well polished when it is used as sleeves for a short sleeved sweatshirt. With this spring season popularizing the eyelet obsession, investing in your piece will last you a lifetime given its timeless quality. JCREW offers an array of styles beautifully made (see here). Lastly, how fabulous are these Kendra Scott magenta earrings? I love the pop of color it brings to this outfit! Start your Kendra Scott color obsession here. Happy investing!

Your "It" Look for Spring
Ready or not, here comes warm weather! Now that your closets are cleared out of your comfy sweaters it's time to make room for my favorite outfit choice of the year. Can you say dresses?! They are so simple to wear with a touch of statement jewelry and cute sandals to get you through a day of spring cleaning errands. They can also be worn in many ways to easily transition your wardrobe from the spring to summer season. Just throw on a jean jacket or a light field jacket (find here) for the breezy days of spring but soon start your transition of shedding the layers for the hot summer sun. Aside from that, can we just say "ooh la la" to these Tory Burch sandals? I recently splurged on these babes and cannot wait to get more! Treat yourself this week, you know you deserve it.

Standout Tee
Check out this cool way to show your personality! A graphic tee speaks a thousand words when you treat it as a statement piece. I love pairing it with a cute pair of shorts or skirt but can easily throw it on with a pair of dark skinny jeans for a sleeker look. When shopping for your tee, stick with a more neutral color (brown, blue, cream, orange, gold, black, white) that is versatile in both spring and fall. Stay away from bright colors you can only get away with in the spring. Find a few tees to start adding to your collection here, here, and here. I hope your tee helps you find new adventures, new friends and amazing opportunities. Happy shopping!
