I'm a firm believer that a piece of jewelry can transform an outfit, whether it be what you wear to a Sunday brunch or a night on the town. I love the crystal mélange necklace because it provides texture and color to any outfit; it is also so easy to dress up or down. It's such a statement and looks so glam! Last but definitely not least, a gold watch is the perfect finishing touch to any outfit. Even if I'm just in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt it is always my go to piece of jewelry.

I've recently scooped up this piece after much consideration and a closet full of outfits awaiting this classic field jacket. Not only is the forest green a color that lasts year round but the gold detailing is the perfect pick me up to any outfit. It also happens to be waterproof; great news to me since I always pick the beautiful rainy days to run my errands. I see a bright future for this jacket and I, especially since I have worn it non stop already. My favorite way to wear this jacket so far is with a simple graphic tee and a nice pair of jeans or fun skirt. Definitely a must-have!

As the new spring semester starts, so does my weekly blogs. This year I'm challenging myself to not shop free-heartedly but moderately and classically. Lately I've been on the second gossip girl kick of my life and have been inspired to be bold in my fashion pieces. I can't wait to see what this full year of fashion brings.
